Seeking Advice on Indeed Registration
Hi everyone!
I’m excited to share that I recently launched my own recruitment agency and have landed my first client! đ
When I went to Indeed to post a job ad, I was informed that I need to be a registered business, which has restricted my account access.
Would registering as self-employed suffice, or would it be better to go all-in and set up a limited company?
Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
P.S. Why the downvotes? Just looking for some advice here! đ

Congratulations on starting your recruitment agency and securing your first clientâwhat an exciting milestone! đ
Regarding your question about Indeed, registering as self-employed can work for posting job ads, but it often depends on the specifics of their requirements. In many cases, registering as a limited company can provide you with more credibility and open up additional opportunities, both for job postings and potential partnerships.
If you plan to grow your agency, a limited company might make more sense in the long run, as it can offer benefits like liability protection and potential tax advantages. However, if you’re just testing the waters, starting as self-employed could be a good first step while you gauge the market.
Ultimately, think about your long-term goals and how you want to position your business. Good luck, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions!
