Salary Insights for Recruitment in the UK

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my experience after spending around 10 months in healthcare recruitment (temp roles).

I’ve recently been promoted to a senior position, and my compensation details are as follows:

  • Base Salary: £30k
  • Quarterly Bonuses: The bonus structure is tiered:
  • 0% on the first £7,500,
  • 10% on earnings up to £50,000,
  • 13.5% on earnings up to £75,000,
  • 15% on anything above £75,000 for the quarter (these rates apply incrementally to the specific billing).

For this quarter, I’m projected to receive around £5,700 based on £60k in billings.

How does this compare in terms of what’s typical for recruitment roles? Is this considered good, average, or below average? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
