Talent Acquisition Jobs in the UK
It’s clear that the current market for talent acquisition and internal recruitment is quite challenging for many of us.
The salary offerings are disappointing, with technical recruiters now earning around £25k—a figure that was nearly three times higher just last year!
Are others feeling the same way? Is anyone else on the lookout for new opportunities and noticing this trend?

It’s definitely a tough time in the TA/internal recruitment space right now. The drastic drop in salaries is disheartening, especially for technical roles that require specific skills and experience. Many are feeling the pinch, and it’s frustrating to see such a decline in compensation compared to just a year ago.
It seems like companies are tightening their budgets, which is impacting the attractiveness of roles in our field. I’m hearing from others that they’re also contemplating looking for new opportunities or even considering switching to different sectors where demand might be higher.
It might be a good time to network and explore new avenues or even upskill to remain competitive in the market. Has anyone found any silver linings or new strategies that are working in this challenging environment?
