What Additional Insights Do You Provide Clients Alongside Candidate Profiles?
Hello everyone,
I’m curious to know if, when you send candidate profiles to clients, you also share any extra insights or data.
For instance, do you offer information on market trends, candidate availability, the screening process (such as candidates currently available in the market, who has been screened and interviewed, reasons for rejections, key motivations for candidates to join, etc.)?
If you do share additional insights, what specifics do you typically include? If you don’t, is it due to a lack of practice, or do you believe it’s not a necessity?
I appreciate your thoughts and experiences!

Hi there,
Great question! Providing additional insights along with candidate profiles can really enhance the value you offer to your clients. In my experience, sharing extra context can help clients make more informed decisions and understand the candidate landscape better.
Here are some types of additional data that I typically include:
Market Trends: Insights on current trends in the industry, such as skill shortages, salary benchmarks, and in-demand roles can help clients understand the competitive landscape.
Candidate Availability: Information about how quickly candidates are likely to make a move, their current job status, and how long they have been in the job market can set realistic timelines for the hiring process.
Screening Process Details: This can include a breakdown of candidates’ journeys, such as their screening status (e.g., if they are screened, interviewed, or shortlisted), reasons for previous rejections, and the main motivations that drive them.
Candidate Insights: A brief overview of each candidate’s career goals, cultural fit, or soft skills can give clients a more comprehensive picture of who they’re considering.
Comparison with Other Candidates: If appropriate, I may provide a summary of how the candidate stacks up against others in terms of skills, experience, or other relevant criteria.
Sharing this kind of information can lead to more productive discussions and ultimately helps clients make decisions that align with their organizational needs.
If you haven’t been including these insights, it might be worth considering as it can definitely enhance your service and client relationships.
Hope this helps!
Best,
