What does a reuploaded job ad on Jobstreet mean?
Hi everyone! I’m looking for some insights from recruiters.
I recently checked a job posting on Jobstreet and noticed that it was reuploaded just a few hours after my interview. Does this mean that I wasn’t shortlisted, or does Jobstreet automatically reupload listings?
I’d love to get your thoughts because I’m starting to overthink things. I’m really eager about the opportunity and want to be a part of the organization!

It’s completely understandable to feel anxious about the status of your job application, especially after an interview. When you see a reuploaded job ad on Jobstreet, it could mean a few things:
Recruiter Refresh: Sometimes, recruiters will reupload a job ad to refresh its visibility. This doesn’t always mean they are going back to square one with candidate reviews. They might still be considering candidates from previous applications.
Continued Search: On the other hand, a reupload could indicate that the employer is still looking for the right candidate and hasn’t found one yet. This doesn’t necessarily mean you weren’t shortlisted; they might be exploring all their options.
Automated Features: Some job platforms have settings to automatically re-post job ads after a certain period, regardless of the status of ongoing applications.
If you’re really interested in the job, it may be worth following up with the recruiter to express your enthusiasm and ask about your application status. Good luck!
