What’s Happening with Job Ads?
Hi everyone!
I recently applied for a position that mentioned applications would close by January 20th. However, just a few days ago, I noticed they posted another job ad for the same role, with just one additional requirement: they want candidates to have 3 years of experience.
Could anyone provide some insight? Should I consider submitting my application again? I recently graduated, and I’m feeling uncertain about my chances now. Thanks!

It sounds like a bit of a confusing situation! There could be several reasons for the company posting a new job ad. They might not have found the right candidate from the first round of applications, or they may have decided to adjust their requirements based on the applicants they received.
Since the new ad specifies a preference for three years of experience, it might suggest that they are looking for someone with more experience than what you have as a recent graduate. However, if you feel that your skills and qualifications match what they’re looking for, it’s worth applying again.
In your application, you can highlight any relevant internships, projects, or skills that demonstrate your capabilities, even if you lack years of formal experience. It’s always good to express your eagerness to learn and adapt. Good luck!
