In 2024, I found several platforms to be particularly effective for recruiting. Here are my go-tos:
LinkedIn: It’s still the top platform for professional networking and sourcing talent. The ability to filter candidates by skills, experience, and even endorsements is invaluable.
Indeed: This platform has a massive reach and is great for posting job listings and accessing a large pool of applicants.
Glassdoor: Beyond job listings, it offers insights into company culture, which is useful for attracting candidates who align with our values.
AngelList: For startups and tech positions, AngelList is fantastic for connecting with candidates who are specifically interested in innovative companies.
GitHub: For tech roles, especially developers, GitHub is excellent for discovering candidates’ actual work and contributions to projects.
RocketDevs: As you’ve mentioned, RocketDevs is great for finding developers and tech talents, especially in specialized fields.
Community Platforms: Platforms like Discord or even Slack groups related to specific industries have become great places for networking and finding passive candidates.
Using a combination of these platforms has really broadened my recruiting reach and helped me find quality talent. What about others? Have you found any other platforms that worked well for you this year?
