What’s your strategy for attracting new clients?
We all know the market is challenging, and to be honest, since I launched my business earlier this year, I’ve been hustling hard to find work—and it’s been incredibly tough.
What’s even more daunting is the competition; it seems like everyone is vying for the same opportunities, which makes it essential for us to differentiate ourselves.
With so many people working remotely, standing out over the phone has become increasingly difficult. In fact, I find that around 90% of my leads are simply unreachable through cold calls.
How are you successfully navigating this landscape? What types of messages have you found to be effective? Are you seeing better results through LinkedIn?
I would really appreciate any insights, as they could make a significant difference for my new and struggling business. Thank you!

I completely understand your struggles—it’s definitely a challenging time for many new businesses! Here are a few strategies that have been working for me to attract new clients and stand out in a crowded market:
Refine Your Target Audience: Take a closer look at your ideal clients. Narrowing your focus can help you tailor your messaging to resonate more with them, making it easier to stand out.
Leverage Social Media: LinkedIn has been particularly effective for me. I focus on sharing valuable content that positions me as an expert in my niche. This includes case studies, industry insights, and personal stories that connect with potential clients.
Networking and Building Relationships: Even with remote work, I’ve found virtual networking events and industry-related webinars to be great opportunities to connect. Engaging by commenting and contributing during these events can help you establish rapport with potential clients.
Personalized Outreach: When reaching out via email or LinkedIn, I’ve had more success by personalizing my messages. Mentioning a common connection or specific detail about their business can help you stand out compared to generic cold calls or messages.
Content Marketing: Creating valuable, informative content—like blog posts or videos—can help draw potential clients to you. This helps establish credibility and encourages leads to reach out for more information.
Referral Programs: Leveraging your existing clients for referrals can be a powerful way to gain new business. Consider setting up a referral program that rewards clients for introducing you to new leads.
Follow Up with Value: If you’ve made contact with a lead but haven’t heard back, consider sending them a follow-up message offering something of value—like a free consultation or valuable insight related to their industry.
Remember, persistence is key, and it may take time to see the results of these strategies. Keep experimenting and adapting until you find the right approach that works for your business. Best of luck, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need more support or ideas!
