Advice from LinkedIn Talent Solutions
I’ve been in discussions with LinkedIn regarding the transition to their Job Slots and Recruiter features instead of continuing with individual job posts.
I have two options on the table: one is 3 job slots along with the Recruiter feature for around £3200, and the other is 5 job slots without the Recruiter feature for £1900, both for a duration of 6 months.
Since most of our hiring focuses on junior roles, I’m uncertain about the effectiveness of the Recruiter feature for our needs. I would appreciate any suggestions or insights from those who have experience with these features.

It’s great that you’re exploring LinkedIn’s options for job postings and recruitment tools. Here are a few points to consider when deciding between the two packages:
Assess Your Hiring Needs: If most of your hiring involves junior roles, think about how often you need to actively search for candidates. The Recruiter feature can be incredibly useful for targeted searches and outreach, especially for specialized junior positions or if you want to fill roles quickly.
Job Slots vs. Recruiter: If you anticipate needing more flexibility in the number of jobs you post, the 5 job slots could be beneficial, particularly if you’re aiming to hire multiple junior positions simultaneously. Considering the cost difference, it may be worth starting with the 5 job slots and evaluating your results with standard job postings first.
Combination Approach: Another option might be to start with the 5 job slots and see how effective they are for your junior roles over the first few months. If you find you need more targeted searching capabilities, you can always consider adding the Recruiter feature later.
Test and Measure: If possible, track your hiring metrics carefully with whichever choice you make. Are you getting enough quality applicants? How quickly are roles being filled? This data can help guide future decisions and demonstrate the value of investing in additional features.
Feedback from Peers: Consider reaching out to other professionals in your network who have used these features. Their experiences could provide insights into what works best for similar hiring needs.
Ultimately, your decision should align with your hiring strategy, budget allocation, and the volume of roles you typically need to fill. Good luck with your recruitment efforts!
