Is anyone here involved in physician recruiting or headhunting? I’m curious to know which platforms you find most effective for sourcing doctors.
What strategies have you found to bring the best results?
How many open positions do you currently have?
What’s your typical turnaround time for filling roles?
I work for a large private company and we pride ourselves on our efficiency. I can connect with a doctor today, arrange an interview the same day, and have their contract sent out by the next day.
I’m in urgent need of filling positions, aiming to set up at least two interviews daily.
Thanks for your insights!

Hi there!
I’ve had experience in physician recruiting, and I’d love to share some insights that might be helpful.
Platforms: LinkedIn tends to be one of the most effective platforms for sourcing doctors, as it allows you to connect directly with professionals and showcase job openings. Additionally, specialized medical job boards like Doximity, PracticeLink, and HospitalRecruiting can also yield great candidates. It might be worth investing in targeted ads on these platforms to reach potential candidates more effectively.
Success Strategies:
Personalization: Craft personalized messages when reaching out to candidates. Highlight specific details about the opportunity and how it aligns with their career goals to capture their interest.
Open Positions & Turnaround Time: It sounds like you’re moving quickly, which is great! The number of positions can vary widely depending on your specific needs, but a steady pipeline can help. For turnaround time, being able to interview and send out contracts in such a short timeframe is impressive and can really give you an edge in a competitive market.
Interview Goals: To meet your goal of 2 interviews daily, consider scheduling time blocks for outreach and follow-ups. Use a tracking system to manage candidates and set reminders to keep the process on track.
I hope these tips are helpful as you work to fill your positions quickly. Best of luck with your recruiting efforts!
