Stuck in LinkedIn Invitation Overload – Is Anyone Else Struggling?
Hello everyone!
I’ve been reflecting on a challenge many of us face. A few years ago, while freelancing in tech recruitment, I discovered that sorting through LinkedIn invitations was taking way more time than it should.
Receiving between 50 and 100 invites each week was overwhelming. I found myself spending more time sifting through profiles than actually finding the right talent. Does this resonate with anyone?
I’m interested to know how others are coping with this barrage of invitations. Are you also finding that you lose a significant amount of time managing them manually?
If you’re curious about what I’m working on to tackle this issue, here’s a link to learn more https://tally.so/r/nGoOAk – no obligation!
I’m in the early stages of brainstorming a potential solution, but I’d love to hear about your experiences first.
Thanks for your input!

Hey there!
I totally relate to your experience with LinkedIn invitations—it can definitely feel overwhelming! Like you, I’ve found myself sifting through a constant stream of requests that often don’t lead to quality connections or potential candidates. It’s frustrating when the time spent on filtering profiles takes away from actual recruitment efforts.
I’ve tried a few approaches, like creating specific connection criteria and using filters to manage incoming requests, but even those can be time-consuming. I’m eager to see what kind of solutions you come up with.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the link! I’m excited to see where this brainstorming leads. Looking forward to hearing about your progress!
Best,
