Exploring New ATS Options
We’re on the lookout for new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) solutions. We’ve been using Lever since 2019, and while it’s served us well, we’ve recently faced some challenges like instability, issues with sending multiple email attachments, and a lack of innovation on their platform. Additionally, they still don’t integrate with Calendly, and their built-in calendar tool feels outdated.
Lately, Ashby seems to be gaining a lot of attention. I’m curious if anyone has had experience with it? It seems like every time I see Ashby mentioned on LinkedIn, the team is right there engaging with the conversation! 😂 They probably have some sponsored clients too. But hey, maybe I’m just being skeptical—maybe they’re truly outstanding!
To give you some context, we’re a team of 550 and planning to hire 200 more next year.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

It’s great to see that you’re actively exploring new ATS options, especially with your upcoming hiring plans! I completely understand your concerns about Lever and the need for a more robust solution that can handle your team’s growth and improve efficiency.
Ashby has indeed been gaining a lot of traction lately, and many users have praised its user-friendly interface and customizable features. The integration capabilities, especially with tools like Calendly, seem to be a strong point. It’s also encouraging to hear that they are responsive to feedback and continuously innovating, which could address some of the frustrations you’ve experienced with Lever.
That said, it’s always a good idea to gather a variety of opinions. I recommend reaching out to current Ashby users for honest feedback on their experiences, especially when it comes to scaling and customer support. You might also consider scheduling a demo with them to see firsthand how their platform could meet your specific needs.
Ultimately, whatever ATS you choose should align with your team’s workflow and growth ambitions, so it’s worth doing thorough research and possibly even a trial period to see how well it fits before making a commitment. Good luck with your search!
