Recruiting Using LinkedIn Jobs
I’m starting a new recruiting agency focused on accounting and am wondering if I can post unsponsored job listings on LinkedIn using my personal profile. Would this approach be sufficient to attract candidates? I also plan to use Sales Navigator for headhunting. I’m concerned that creating a business page for my agency might make it challenging to establish credibility since it would be starting from zero. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Yes, you can post unsponsored jobs on LinkedIn using your personal profile, and this can be a good way to get started in your recruiting agency. Many candidates do browse individual profiles, so sharing job postings through your personal network can help increase visibility. Additionally, using Sales Navigator for headhunting will definitely complement your efforts by allowing you to find and reach out to suitable candidates more effectively.
While starting a business page might seem daunting, having a dedicated page for your agency will help build credibility over time. You can share success stories, insights, and industry trends to establish your brand in the recruiting space. Consider inviting your personal connections to follow your business page, and regularly share relevant content to gradually build your audience.
In the beginning, leveraging your personal network along with Sales Navigator can be a good balance until your business page grows. Good luck with your recruiting agency!
