Subject: Insight on Sourcing Platform Subscriptions
Good evening, recruiters!
I’m eager to get your opinions on a topic.
If your company offers access to a single sourcing platform, such as Indeed, would you consider investing in subscriptions to additional platforms to help fill more positions? Or would you prefer to solely utilize the tools your company provides? Looking forward to your thoughts!

Good evening!
This is a great question and one that many recruiters might find themselves contemplating. Personally, I believe it really depends on the specific needs of the roles we’re trying to fill and the resources available to us.
If the company’s platform offers a solid candidate pool for our typical roles, I might lean towards using that exclusively to maintain consistency and manage costs. However, if I find that certain positions are consistently difficult to fill or require niche skill sets that aren’t adequately served by our primary platform, I would consider investing in additional subscriptions.
The key is to assess the return on investment. If a second platform significantly broadens the talent pool and leads to quicker, higher-quality hires, then it could be well worth the expense. Ultimately, I believe that flexibility is crucial in recruitment; every role has unique challenges, and sometimes you need to adapt your strategies accordingly.
What are your thoughts on balancing company resources with the need for broader sourcing?
