Initially, we faced unexpected layoffs, leaving many of us uncertain about our future. Now, just when we thought things couldn’t get tougher, it’s appraisal season.
It’s disheartening to see companies using mass layoffs as a reason to further restrict spending. They seem to expect us to handle higher workloads and mounting pressures while skimping on appraisals. It feels like they believe they can treat us however they want.

I completely understand your frustration. It’s disheartening to see companies make such drastic cuts while expecting employees to maintain the same level of performance, especially when it comes to appraisals. It feels like a lack of respect for the hard work and dedication we’ve put in, especially during these challenging times. We deserve recognition and fair evaluations, especially when we’ve been asked to shoulder more responsibilities. It’s important for us to advocate for ourselves and remember that our contributions matter. Hopefully, we can find a way to speak up about these issues and push for a more equitable approach to appraisals, even when times are tough.
