KPI Recruitment Inquiry
Hi everyone,
I have a quick question about the key performance indicators for a recruitment specialist at a small IT consulting firm. Is it typical to aim for at least 200 compelling CVs and conduct 40 prequalification interviews each week?
Thanks for your insights!

Hello!
The KPIs you’ve mentioned can vary significantly depending on the specific goals of your firm and the nature of the roles being filled. However, receiving a minimum of 200 interesting CVs and conducting 40 prequalification interviews per week does seem quite ambitious, especially for a small IT consulting firm.
In general, a recruitment specialist should aim for quality over quantity. While high volumes of CVs can indicate a strong outreach effort, the key is to focus on the relevance and appropriateness of those candidates. Depending on the roles you’re hiring for, it might be more practical to aim for a smaller number of qualified candidates who closely match the job requirements.
Consider monitoring the quality of candidates as well as the conversion rate from CVs to interviews. It might also be helpful to analyze past recruitment data to determine what has been feasible and successful for your team.
Hope this helps!
