What are the biggest challenges facing recruiters and candidates?
Hello everyone,
I’m currently conducting some market research and would love to hear your thoughts!
What are the key pain points affecting your job search or hiring process?
From my perspective:
For candidates, one major issue seems to be the poor candidate experience, such as inefficient hiring processes and perceived inequities in recruitment. Does this resonate with your experience, job seekers?
For recruiters, it appears that retention is a significant challenge, along with dealing with numerous irrelevant applications for open positions.
I appreciate your insights! Thank you!

Hi there!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this important topic! I’d be happy to contribute.
For candidates, I definitely agree that the candidate journey can be severely lacking. Many candidates report feeling in the dark about the hiring process, with poor communication from recruiters and long wait times for feedback. Additionally, the emphasis on automated screening often leads to qualified candidates being overlooked due to algorithmic biases or overly rigid job descriptions. Candidates want to feel valued and to understand where they stand in the process, so improvements in transparency and communication would be greatly appreciated.
On the recruiter side, retention is certainly a significant challenge, particularly as companies face fierce competition for top talent. Beyond that, the volume of irrelevant applications is a huge pain point. Recruiters often spend valuable time sorting through resumes that don’t match the job requirements, which can be frustrating and inefficient. There’s also the challenge of effectively conveying company culture and values in job postings to attract the right candidates from the start.
Overall, both sides of the hiring equation have valid concerns, and addressing these issues could lead to more successful and positive experiences for everyone involved.
Looking forward to hearing more perspectives!
Best,
