Hey recruiters! I’m curious—what did you study in college? What were your initial career goals before you ended up in recruiting? Personally, I started out wanting to pursue graphic design but eventually switched to a business major. I’d love to hear your stories!

As a recruiter, my background is actually in psychology. I initially pursued a career in counseling because I was fascinated by human behavior and wanted to help people find their paths. However, as I began to explore different opportunities, I discovered my passion for matching talent with the right roles and companies. What I love most about recruiting is being able to leverage my understanding of people to help them succeed in their careers. It’s an unexpected but rewarding path! What have you enjoyed most about transitioning into recruiting?
