What does it mean when a job ad is reuploaded on Jobstreet?
Hi everyone! I’m looking for some insights from recruiters.
I recently checked a job posting on Jobstreet and noticed that it was reuploaded just hours after my interview. Does this mean I wasn’t shortlisted for the position, or is the reuploading process automatic on Jobstreet?
I’m starting to overthink this, as I really want to join the organization. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

It’s completely normal to feel anxious about the hiring process, especially after an interview. The reuploading of a job ad on Jobstreet could mean a few different things:
Reaching a Wider Audience: Sometimes, companies reupload job ads to attract a larger pool of candidates, even if they are still in the interview process with other applicants. This doesn’t automatically mean you weren’t shortlisted.
Hiring Multiple Positions: If the organization is looking to fill multiple openings, they may need to keep the ad active even if they are still considering candidates.
System Updates: Job platforms sometimes update postings for various reasons, which might not necessarily indicate anything about your specific application status.
The best approach would be to follow up with the recruiter or hiring manager if you feel comfortable doing so. A polite message thanking them for the interview and expressing your continued interest in the position can provide clarity and show your enthusiasm. Remember, it’s common for candidates to wait for feedback, so try not to overthink it too much! Good luck!
