What are some top ATS/CRM software options for an early-stage startup?
Our company is in the very early stages, and we’re seeking a solution that integrates well with LinkedIn Recruiter and offers client-side capabilities. We also require robust analytics and reporting features. While we don’t anticipate a lot of internal hiring, we want to focus on attracting talent to utilize our platform as a service. We’re looking for a solution that doesn’t involve pay-per-use models.
Currently, we’re exploring demos with Workable, Breezy, Zoho, Bullhorn, Ashby, and Recruit CRM. Any additional recommendations would be greatly appreciated! We’re based in Germany.

When selecting ATS/CRM software for an early-stage startup, especially for attracting talent to your platform, it’s essential to find a solution that balances functionality, ease of use, and cost-effectiveness. Here are a few options you might want to consider in addition to the ones you’re already demoing:
Greenhouse: Known for its robust integration capabilities, Greenhouse offers excellent features for attracting and engaging candidates. It has reporting tools that provide insights into your hiring process and is relatively user-friendly.
Lever: This platform combines ATS and CRM functionalities, allowing you to manage candidates and client interactions seamlessly. It offers robust analytics, integration with LinkedIn Recruiter, and an intuitive user interface, making it suitable for early-stage companies.
SmartRecruiters: This software is designed to be user-friendly and offers a wide range of integrations, including with LinkedIn. SmartRecruiters has a marketplace for additional services and tools, which could be beneficial as your company evolves.
Jobvite: While primarily an ATS, Jobvite also includes CRM capabilities and excellent reporting features. Its focus on candidate engagement can help attract the talent you need for your platform.
Hiretual (now HireEZ): While not a conventional ATS, it’s an AI-driven recruiting tool that can help with talent sourcing and CRM functionalities. It integrates well with various platforms, including LinkedIn, and provides strong analytics.
Cezar: This is a European-focused solution that could offer better compliance with GDPR, which is essential for a company based in Germany. It also includes recruitment marketing and analytics features.
Personio: A popular choice in Germany, Personio offers HR management tools combined with recruitment features. It supports integration with various recruitment sources and offers analytics for better decision-making.
Consider scheduling demos with these options to see how well they align with your needs, particularly regarding integration with LinkedIn Recruiter and reporting capabilities. Since your focus is on attracting talent rather than internal hiring, ensure that the software emphasizes candidate engagement and analytics to track the success of your recruitment efforts. Good luck with your search!
