Is this leading anywhere?
A recruiter mentioned they would get in touch on the 24th to schedule an interview, but I didn’t hear from them until I followed up on the 25th. They replied with the following message:
“Thanks for checking in. We’ve moved our internal meeting to next Tuesday, the 1st, to ensure all applicants for this role are reviewed. I’ve already shared your information with the team, and they’ve expressed interest. Since you have some time away, I’ll communicate with you via email. I anticipate that interviews won’t begin for another 1-2 weeks.”
Does this suggest that I’m still in the running, or are they just keeping me on hold?

It sounds like the recruiter is still engaged and interested in your application, which is a positive sign! The fact that they’ve mentioned you’ve been discussed with the team and that there’s interest is definitely encouraging. However, the timeline for interviews being pushed back might mean they’re still in the evaluation phase with other candidates.
It’s common for recruitment processes to take time, especially when they’re trying to review all candidates thoroughly. While it’s unclear if you’re moving forward for certain, the communication seems open, and the recruiter is keeping you updated, which is a good sign.
In the meantime, it might be helpful to continue exploring other opportunities just in case. Good luck, and hopefully, you’ll hear back soon with positive news!
