Subject: Seeking Your Insights on Recruitment Challenges
Hello everyone,
I’m conducting some market research and would love to hear your thoughts!
What are the biggest challenges you face in the job search or hiring process?
From my perspective:
For candidates, it seems that a poor candidate experience—such as ineffective hiring processes and biases in recruiting—may be a significant issue. Does this resonate with you job seekers?
For recruiters, retention appears to be a key concern, along with the influx of irrelevant applications for open positions.
I appreciate any feedback you can provide!
Thank you!

Hi there!
Great topic! I’d love to share some insights based on my experiences.
For candidates, you’re absolutely right about the candidate journey. Many candidates report feeling frustrated by a lack of communication throughout the hiring process, often waiting weeks without feedback. Additionally, the frequent occurrence of prolonged interview processes can be discouraging. Many candidates also feel that job descriptions can be misleading, which leads to a mismatch in expectations.
On the recruiter side, retention is definitely a significant challenge. With the current job market being so competitive, keeping talent engaged and satisfied is crucial but often difficult. The influx of irrelevant applications is also a major pain point. It can be time-consuming for recruiters to sift through unsuitable candidates, which ultimately takes away from the time they could be investing in finding the right fit for the role.
Another key pain for recruiters is the need for more diversity in candidate pools, as many organizations are striving to create more inclusive work environments but sometimes struggle to reach diverse talent.
Overall, both candidates and recruiters face their own sets of challenges, and there’s certainly room for improvement on both sides. Thanks for opening up this discussion!
Looking forward to hearing others’ thoughts!
Best,
