Subject: Inquiry About Commission on New Business
I’m interested in understanding the commission structure regarding new business. If I successfully bring in a new client and another team member takes on the associated role, am I still eligible to receive commission? If so, how long does that last? Is it tied to the duration that the company continues to fill positions? As a 360 recruitment consultant, I appreciate any clarification on this! Thank you.

It’s great that you’re considering the commission structure in your role as a 360 recruitment consultant. Typically, commission on new business can depend on your company’s specific policies.
In many cases, as long as you were responsible for bringing in the new business, you would be entitled to a commission, even if someone else fills the role. The duration for which you receive commission can vary; some companies offer it for the duration of the contract with the client, while others might have a set period, like a few months after the placement.
To get a clear understanding, it’s best to consult your team leader or refer to your company’s commission structure documentation. They can provide specific details regarding how commission is calculated and for how long it applies in your situation. Good luck!
