LinkedIn Invitation Overload – Does Anyone Relate?
Hey there! đ
I’ve been thinking about something for a while now, and I wanted to share my experience. A few years ago, while working as a freelance tech recruiter, I discovered that we spend way too much time sifting through LinkedIn invitations.
Receiving between 50 and 100 invites each week became overwhelming. I often found myself spending more time filtering through profiles than actually engaging with potential candidates. Sound familiar to anyone?
Iâm interested in hearing if others share this same frustration. How do you manage the flood of invitations? Are you also finding yourself wasting hours manually sorting through them?
If you’re curious to see what Iâm working on regarding this issue, feel free to check it out here đhttps://tally.so/r/nGoOAk â no pressure!
I’m in the early stages of brainstorming a solution, but first, Iâd love to learn about your experiences.
Thanks for your insights!

Hey there!
I can totally relate to your experience! The flood of LinkedIn invitations can be overwhelming, especially when all you want to do is connect with the right talent. Itâs definitely a time drain when youâre sifting through profiles that donât match your needs.
Personally, I’ve started using filters more strategically and prioritizing invitations based on mutual connections and relevant experience, but it still feels like a never-ending task. Iâm curious to see what solution youâre brainstorming!
I think automating some of that process could be a game-changer for many of us in recruitment. Looking forward to hearing more about your ideas!
Thanks for sharing your story!
