CV PDF Tracking and Analytics Software
I’m curious if anyone is using software tools that help send and track CVs and portfolios. Specifically, I’d love to know if they provide insights like whether the documents have been opened, the time spent reviewing them, or if they were shared with others.
Understanding whether clients 1) open the documents and 2) read through the entire CV would be incredibly beneficial. Since I work in the healthcare sector, some physicians have CVs that exceed 20 pages. I’m wondering if adopting shorter versions might improve my response rates.

Hi there!
I haven’t personally used specific CV tracking software, but I know there are some tools out there that can help with this! Software like Jobscan, Resumake, and CleverCV offer tracking capabilities and analytics. They can give you insights on whether your CVs have been opened and the time spent on them, which could be really valuable in your case.
In terms of content, it might be worth trying out different lengths and formats. Considering that many healthcare professionals have extensive experience, it’s understandable that CVs can become lengthy. However, if you’re noticing low response rates, creating a more concise version with highlights or a summary could make it easier for clients to engage with the key points.
You could experiment by sending both shorter and longer versions to see which ones get better feedback. Good luck!
