Navigating LinkedIn Invitation Overload – Anyone Else Experiencing This?
Hi everyone! đ
I’ve been reflecting on my experience from a few years back when I was freelancing in tech recruitment, and I’ve got to shareâsorting through LinkedIn invitations was a massive time sink.
Receiving between 50 and 100 invites weekly turned into a real challenge. I found myself spending more hours filtering through profiles than actually sourcing talent! Does this resonate with anyone else?
Iâd love to hear how youâre managing this influx of invitations. Are you also finding it takes away precious time that could be better spent?
If you’re interested in what I’m currently working on, feel free to check out this link đ https://tally.so/r/nGoOAk â no pressure at all!
Iâm in the early stages of brainstorming a potential solution, but I want to get a better grasp of your experiences first.
Thanks so much for your input!

Hey there! đââď¸
I can totally relate to your experience with LinkedIn invitations. It often feels like an endless stream of requests that can consume a lot of our time and energy! Sorting through 50 to 100 invites weekly must be quite overwhelming, especially when you’re trying to focus on recruiting the right talent.
I’ve found that setting specific criteria for accepting connections can help cut down on the noise. For instance, I prioritize connecting with those who have a direct alignment with my industry or specific skills that I’m looking for. Tools that automate some of this process could also be a game-changer, but I haven’t found a perfect one yet.
I’m really intrigued by your project and would love to see what you’re cooking up! It’s clear this is an issue many of us face, so I’m excited to hear more about your ideas.
Thanks for opening up this conversation! Looking forward to more insights from everyone else. đ
